Why you need to have a niche to attract more clients into your business

We all want to grow our client base, right? It’s one of the most common problems entrepreneurs face, how to attract more clients into their busines.

.

What if I told you that by getting more specific about your business, you could actually attract more clients? Yes, you read that right..

.

As a niche non-believer for so many years, my whole entire business has shifted immensely after deciding to niche down in my business.

.

For the first two years of my business, I absolutely hated the idea of having a niche. My business coach at the time would always ask me to get more specific about my niche, but I would always fight her about it.

.

I always thought that I had too many interests to niche down. Some of my common thoughts were, “But what if I lose clients/followers because I niche down?”. “Amn’t I being TOO specific here?”, “Is this really going to help me hit my income goals?”

.

For the longest time, I fought the idea of having a niche. My business showed for it. My first few years in business, I was so all over the place, that my clients had no clue what to expect from me.

.

I thought that I could do many things at once, thinking that it was going to bring me success. It couldn’t be further from the truth.

.

Being so broad and spread out left me in a dilemma. I was burned out, exhausted, and stuck making 3k months. I couldn’t seem to get over the 3k hump no matter how hard I tried! I would create product after product, but nothing would seem to explode like I thought it would.

.

It wasn’t until I realized that my problem was that I had TOO many problems I was trying to solve. Instead of getting really good at solving 1 or 2 problems, I was trying to solve 5 of them. This left my audience confused.

.

It also made my energy confusing. Clients felt my energy. They didn’t know what to expect of my business.

.

It wasn’t until I decided to niche down, that I started to make 10k+ months, work less doing so, and attract more clients. I couldn’t believe how many more clients were magnetized to my business AFTER I became more specific.

.

If you want to attract more clients into your business, I highly suggest getting crystal clear on your niche. I’ve created a guide for you to create a niche right here.

.

What is a niche anyways?

.

Niche is a fancy word that’s thrown around in business a lot. It’s also commonly ignored because of this fact.

.

Think of your niche as your go-to expertise, what you excel at in your business. It’s what you are providing solutions in.

.

Having a niche means that when someone lands on your website or social media page, they know within seconds what you offer and who you work with.

.

It’s pretty much what you do, what programs you offer, and who you want to work with. It’s the solution that you offer to your client base.

.

Your client has a specific problem that has a specific solution. This is why having a solid niche opens you up to more of your soulmate clients. Your soulmate clients want their problems solved. That’s it.

.

Is it necessary to have a niche for your business?

.

To put it as simply as possible, YES, it’s very important to niche as I’ve explained previously!

.

Now at this point, you may have the most common fear, which is “What If I miss out on some clients because of my niche?”

.

This is a totally normal fear – that’s false.

.

To also put it simply, yes, you will miss out on some clients, but that is a good thing. You will attract your soulmate clients though, which will create more revenue for your business. It’s a win-win.

.

You see, when you try to serve and help everyone, you end up helping NO ONE.

.

You will be so scattered and all over the place (like me), that you will significantly decrease the impact you can be having.

.

You also may lose out on getting more traffic or followers when you niche down, but at the end of the day, you end up with more sales, which is the ultimate goal.

.

So if you want to attract motivated buyers, you definitely want to have a niche that you become known for.

.

I mean, think about it, would you want to go to a restaurant that specializes in 5 different cuisines? Thought not…

.

You rather go to that restaurant that specializes in 1 or 2 cuisines TOPS.

.

Think of your business as a restaurant. What’s your specialty?

.

You are better off being known for one niche/cuisine, than you are for 5 of them (which probably won’t be good anyways).

.

If you want to find your niche/solidify it, you have to get my FREE niche guide that I have made for you! I’ve created a 4 step framework for finding a niche for your business. All you have to do is click here to access it.
