Hii love! Happy New Year (or almost)!!!
I can’t believe how fast 2018 flew.
It has been such an amazing year of success, some failures + learning!
As you know, I’m a huge believer in the notion that everything happens for a reason. Even when you have bad days or moments, those experiences are teaching you what you need to know for the future.
I’m never one to pretend that I’m perfect or my business is perfect. NEVER!
In fact, the start of 2018 was difficult in my business. I had so many hopes and dreams, but was lacking in motivation for the first half of the year.
I started to disconnect from what I was offering (particularly intensive love coaching) and was not feeling passionate in my business. I had lost my drive and my business felt like hard work. What I once loved no longer lift me up. It was a sad moment, one that I was trying hard to fight against.
I was beyond frustrated that everyone around me was growing, but I felt stuck. Looking back now, I’m actually so glad that moment happened. When I thought I was stuck, I was actually growing and preparing for a major change.
I had the courage over the summer to change my business direction. It was the best decision yet. It was SO scary, doubtful and unknown, but I knew I had to do it. I told myself that I had to follow my intuition and walk the talk, which I did.
The truth is babe, everytime I have listened to my intuition, it has paid off. I have always been scared in the process, but time and time again, I am reminded of this. It’s a reminder to you too, to always follow your intuition, as crazy as it may seem.
I share this with you to let you know that I didn’t accomplish some goals in 2018 and that’s totally ok.
I had really high hopes this year but it didn’t pan out (thankfully) for MANY reasons.
If I had met my goals with my business the way it was when I just started 2018, I wouldn’t be happy or fulfilled. In fact, I’d probably feel even more disconnected.
If you’re in the same boat, I don’t want you to be hard on yourself.
In fact, I want you to celebrate.
When you don’t meet your goals, you are actually learning more from that contrast than you can imagine.
You meet some, you don’t meet some…either way you have made PROGRESS.
Today on the last day of 2018, I also want you to reflect on your progress.
As “little” as it may seem, you have lived through another year and have made progress, no matter what you have done.
Take a moment today to write out your favorite moments of 2018 and what you are grateful for that has happened.
P.S. I just released my new gratitude book, but I’ll get to that on another day;).
When you reflect on your year, make sure to celebrate yourself.
Celebrate endlessly. When you celebrate, you communicate with the Universe that you want more of that experience.
As a little 2019 manifesting exercise too, I recommend opening up your journal and also writing some goals you want to manifest in 2019.
You can use the prompt;
“I am so thankful and excited to manifest __________ in 2019”
Let your imagination take you from there. No goal is too big or too small.
Keep your journal entry somewhere where you can read it next year.
This is a great way to start the new year with positive vibes.
Remember, the miracle can occur at any moment. You don’t have to have all of your goals met now. Some goals will take longer, which is ok. It will feel sweeter when it comes.
As always, love you and thank you for being here<3Happy New Year!
